Lately, some Storymatic-influenced comics have been coming over the transom. I love comics. Who doesn't?
This first one is by Eric Latimer, an art teacher in Boston. It comes from his web-comic Chuffed.
And this next one is from Alexander Shen, a San Francisco artist. Alexander got a Storymatic a couple of years ago... kind of. I remember he emailed me because the Storymatic he'd ordered had disappeared from the lobby of his building right before Christmas. Santa hooked Alexander up with a new one, and it's great to see that two years later it's still getting some use.
Alexander's comic is called Mister Goh:
Alex writes that he took "blind person" and "horse trainer" as starting points and finished with "thirst" and "missing child"
Check out Alexander's blog.
And this next one is by Danny Lewis from Boston, the creator of No One Believes in Monsters. Danny drew the cards “temp,” “elevator mechanic,” “doll,” and “the truth within the lie.”
